GRACE:

noun...1. seemingly effortless beauty or charm of movement, form, or proportion.

Grace Gardens is...

This blog's purpose is for me to keep a garden journal of sorts. To detail some of the things that I accomplish in the garden and a little of what I do in my home as well. It will also be a place where I will post the photos that I love to take so much. Maybe a place to post my overflowing of pictures that I particularly like or find artistic. Some posts will be wordy...and some may have no conversation at all. Just a post to bring back to mind a lovely day or a meaningful memory. I have disabled the comments on this blog, but feel free to e-mail me for any questions about what you see here. My e-mail address can be found in my profile.

What's blooming now?

There is so much blooming in the garden right now.
I thought I would share some of them here today.

Delphiniums along the front walk.

Watermelon poppies.
These are my favorite poppies in the garden.

I love, love these too. They are never the same color from year to year.

Some years they bloom with more lavender, but this year they are a true pink.

Beauty of Livermoor poppies

Bearded iris that have just finished blooming for the year.

Siberian iris along the walk.

I also have many in the beds.
I love them!

Halwards Silver spirea.

Flax!
These grow wild along many Idaho roadways.

Foxglove that I have growing in the urns on the front porch.

Love, love, love their speckled throats!

I love the red leaf rose and have several in the garden.
So easy to grow and the color is beautiful.

I will be back soon with the peonies and roses!
