GRACE:

noun...1. seemingly effortless beauty or charm of movement, form, or proportion.

Grace Gardens is...

This blog's purpose is for me to keep a garden journal of sorts. To detail some of the things that I accomplish in the garden and a little of what I do in my home as well. It will also be a place where I will post the photos that I love to take so much. Maybe a place to post my overflowing of pictures that I particularly like or find artistic. Some posts will be wordy...and some may have no conversation at all. Just a post to bring back to mind a lovely day or a meaningful memory. I have disabled the comments on this blog, but feel free to e-mail me for any questions about what you see here. My e-mail address can be found in my profile.

The Summer garden

John Cabot roses on the front arbor.

The roses have been blooming for a few weeks now and are
 coloring up the garden nicely.

This is the Morden Centennial rose along with lady's mantle and snow in summer.

This arbor is along the front of the main part of the garden.
On the far right of the photo is William Baffin rose, on the arbor is John Cabot rose along
with river bank grape and on the far left of the photo is another John Cabot rose.

Along the front walk I have delphinium, peachleaf bellflower, lavender
and clematis blooming now.

Here is a scraggly Henry Kelsey rose on a wire arbor in the shade thus the
reason for the meager blooms and canes.

Not a great photo, but these are the roses growing along the driveway.
John Cabot and Bonica.

Collette and Blaze roses on the south of the house.

Morden Blush rose blooms.

The photos below are some from the garden this spring that I hadn't got
posted in this garden journal.

Edsel the cat.

He's the cutest statuary I have in the entire garden!

The garden is alive with color right now and in the mornings I love going out
to see what is there to greet my eyes.
Always a camera in hand to record it for another year!
